Perfect. My camera’s viewfinder is very different from the world’s viewfinder. Perfection isn’t something you can achieve during your photoshoot. It can only happen to you. Perfect moments frozen in time happen upon us when we aren’t looking for them, we let our guard down, we accept our own worth, and we see how special we were each created to be. Only then can we finally say, “This is perfect.”

My name is Morgan Wiley and I am 25 years of age. I love enjoying the life God has given me. Outside of my job, I spend most of my time with my husband and my family. This new year was quite exciting for us. We welcomed out baby boy into the world on January 12th. Daxton is by far the light of our life!

My Business is located in Aroostook County. I mostly services the people of Maine, however, I do occasionally accept weddings in states such as Florida, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire.

Experience

Morgan Lynn Portraits, LLC is solely owned and operated by me. I shoot an average of 150+ families, seniors, and couples a year! It is so exciting to meet new people each year and add them to the list I am honored to service. I photograph a variety of life events: senior portraits, wedding photography, lifestyle photography, anniversary shoots, motherhood moments, styled shoots, and many more. I specialize in senior portraits and wedding photography. My focus is to give each senior and bride a fun and personal experience.

How Did I Get Started -

When I was a little girl, I absolutely loved playing with those throw away cameras. I would go through one in a day! I would take one with me to camp each summer, bring one to our big family holiday parties, and ask for one in my stocking every Christmas. As middle school years rolled around, my parents bought be a little red, digital Kodak camera. That camera came with me EVERYWHERE! It was an essential to have in my little purse. I started practicing on still objects and friends with this camera. A passion was starting to grow inside of me even more. Once I hit my Freshman year of high school, I saved up to buy my first real camera. It was still a lower grade DSLR but it was a great camera to learn from first. I began asking people in my community to allow me to take their pictures and practice on them. My junior year I decided I wanted to pursue my dreams of starting my own photography business. My senior year I invested in a professional, quality DSLR camera and I began the process of becoming licensed business. I took courses online to strengthen my knowledge in the business and creativity for the art. Each year after that I continued to grow my client list and strengthen my presence on social media. It was a lot of hard work. Now, I am rewarded with amazing people who appreciate my passion and art as well.

My Favorite Part About My Job -

I love meeting new people. In the blink of an eye, I have been introduced to a new member of a family, captured the beautiful ceremony of a newlywed couple, and splashed around Sand Beach with a senior who plans to work in the medical field after graduation. I find myself incredibly blessed to have these opportunities. I am fortunate to live in a small town, yet experience so many life moments with many new and different people!
