Everything about Chase and Lauren’s day was a dream. The weather was perfect! The day started off with blue skies and ended with a golden sunset. Gold accents and fresh greens dressed the spaces each guest laid their eyes on. I absolutely loved the varying styles of the bridesmaid’s dresses. They were each unique to the person wearing them, but the differences were subtle and within the same color palette. As guests arrived, elegant white flowers laid beautifully on the ceremony arch and lights hung to illuminate the outdoor reception space. I felt like I was in a lavish garden somewhere. Everything blended together beautifully, just like the Bride and Groom. Lauren embodied the look of a classic bride in every way. Her long tule veil and lace trimmed dress flowed perfectly on the golf course at sunset. Chase’s black suit and bow tie complimented the look excellently.
Okay, I’m done drooling over the details now. I am just so thankful I was given the opportunity to photograph Chase and Lauren’s special day. It was exciting to have the opportunity to shoot in different surroundings and with a new perspective. I was fortunate to work with some amazing vendors and coordinators along the way, making the process so much fun! There aren’t many palm trees and resorts in my home state these days. Maybe you know of one and can let me in on where it is and how to get there. It was all so exciting to be a part of. I love being able to mix things up and have experiences in other places. Although, when it’s all said and done, I am thankful to be a Mainer. I can’t do the Florida heat in heels.
