New Year, New Blog!

Hello.

I am so excited to introduce you all to my newly designed site and first ever blog! Since this is my first blog post, I think I should introduce myself again in case some of the new followers are curious.

I love to tell stories! I come from a family where telling a story is a daily occurrence. We love to laugh and relive moments in our lives that brought us great joy. It could be about anything from a prank that was played on someone or the time my dad wore fake teeth to my sister's rehearsal dinner. We have always loved the way it brought us together as a family, which is why I believe story telling has become my passion and now my job.

Now listen, I am a lover of all things yummy. Cookie Dough, homemade popcorn, steak, you name it! But besides a passion for good food, my passion really is storytelling. In high school, I began to find myself drawn to the art of photography. Meeting new people, drawing out their personality, and telling their life story was where I found my passion for the job lay. Nothing can compare to capturing the pure beauty and intricate design of God's creation. As my passion grew, so did my eye for the art! I began to really look at things, not just on the surface but deeper. I began to really see how beautifully packaged each scene and individual was in day to day life. And sometimes the scene wasn't always a happy one, but it told an amazing story! I have been blessed beyond measure with remarkable human beings with sincere hearts. I feel as though I have gained so many new friends, family, and experiences through this job! I would never have had the opportunity to if I didn't have this job. I've become close with people because I have experienced some of their rawest emotions on some of the most important days of their lives. Whether it's a wedding or a newborn session, I am experiencing humanity's next steps in certain stages of life. It is really an amazing feeling and truly a blessing to be a part of!

I hope this blog post helped you connect with who I am and my passion for my job and life. I also hope that my post encourages you to chase a passion you have in your own life! I made mine possible and so can you. I would love to hear what your passions are in life and how you are going to make your passion a reality. Please comment below with your story. Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to photograph it!
